SIMPLE PLEASURES

My Simple Pleasure this week as part of our hostess Dayle's Simple Pleasures party is "The fruit of my Labors." Please join us as we share what little things in life help us slow down and enjoy life's Simple Pleasures at A Collection of This and That. Below - tomatoes, zinnias, hydrangea and celosia all blooming. Zinnias in full bloom and I'm cutting them for surprise bouquets for friends!

Tomatoes are starting to come on strong...so nice to see these in the garden!

...and I decided to put my collection of handmade and homemade bird houses out to enjoy. However, I'm not the only one who enjoys them...I noticed bees living in the tall white one!

If I were a bee I would think the tall white bird house was particularly fine real estate!!! Love your garden and your beautiful flowers...and YOU!

I know exactly what you mean about the feeling that comes from seeing the fruit of your labor. It's kind of hard to describe any other way than "simple pleasure".

And I love those birdhouses! My favorite is the one that looks like a basket.

Dear Ms. Daisy....Your garden and plants look lush and lovely and so NEAT, too. Oh, lucky friends who will get bouquets of those beautiful flowers.

Thanks so much for your visit to my blog, too, and your comment. Always love your visits. Susan

There's nothing like sitting back in your garden and enjoying the rewards of the hard work you've put into it. Your garden looks lovely, I envy you the homegrown tomatoes. I have a thing for birdhouse and yours are gorgeous!

I just love how you are a green thumb! Me, not so much! Exception: TOMATOES. I will do anything to get red ripe tomatoes growing!

I love your flower basket. What a nice surprise to receive a bouquet. Am I your friend? :0)
