this has been one crazy week already and it is only Tuesday! Tonight I went to what I thought was my Tuesday night Trustee meeting at our church. I realized after walking into the meeting that I was in the Easter Egg Hunt committee meeting! I did sit in on it to see it I could be of any help there - but they seemed to have it well covered. Just before I left my house to go the the supposed "Trustee meeting" (which, by the way, is NEXT Tuesday!) my good friend, Beverly called to ask if she could bring over the cupcakes she baked for the Lenten Luncheon at our church tomorrow at noon...DUH, I had completely forgotten about the luncheon which I volunteered to work AND make sandwiches for. I had to run to the market, buy the sandwich makings and rush home to make them. I have also been busy getting ready to visit my daughters this weekend when we are planning a "Celebration of my Mother's Life." Jillian has produced a video (which is why we had all the albums out two weeks ago so she could pull out all the pictures she needed for the video) guaranteed she says to have everyone in tears. My Mom liked Elvis Presley and Jillian used Elvis's song "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You" for the video. My daughter K. has promised to sing and play guitar of some of Mom's favorite tunes. We are very much looking forward to this family gathering. I hope you will all bear with me this week as I won't be posting very much until early next week.
