I leave on a sunny, warm day for sunny, warmer Florida!My sister Margo and I decided sometime in January that we were going to take a trip to Florida to see our Mom and Dad. Mother is going to be 88 April 2nd and Dad will be 89 two days later. Don't they look wonderful? We are so fortunate they are still here with us. They will be married 70 years in June!

My sister, Margo and I have our picture taken by the pool at our hotel. Since she lives in another state this was also a chance for us to get together for a short visit.
Then we did some shopping along St. Pete Beach at the BeachZone. We were on a quest to find a pair of "sand shoes" for a friend. Needless-to-say, we didn't find them here (too expensive) so we went to the local Wal-Mart where we found a pair at a more reasonable price. (note to self: take picture of shoes next time!)This was a very quick, four day trip and we had a really good time, however, it was over and gone before we knew it. Margo and I are already planning another trip!
