SNOW BLANKETS THE NORTHEAST

This is me finishing up after the snowblower had done its job.

This was a real March surprise! We had been told that a storm was coming up from the South and that usually means we get dumped on big time...but, we had dodged each bullet - in December, in January and in February when the storms looked like they were coming right at us but veered off into the ocean or to the west of us at the last minute. I have to admit that I was doubting that this one was going to be a problem until at the last minute this one proved to be the "BIG ONE."

I waited until around 1:00pm to go out to clean off the car and shovel some snow off the driveway. My wonderful neighbor, Freddy, was up early (he had to take his Brother-in-Law to the airport for a 7:15am flight!) Freddy had shoveled a path from my door to the car and down the driveway to the mailbox so I started to clear the snow off the car when another neighbor showed up with his snowblower and offered to clean my driveway and that of another neighbor! I surely wasn't going to turn down that offer! I am so Blessed to have these super people living near me who are so willing to help out in times like these. Thanks guys!

Well, Ms. Daisy, Congrats on your great photos!

We got dumped on too. How many inches did you get? Hope you didn't over do it shoveling!

Ugh...I wrote you a big nice response and blogger ate it. The verification words were not showing either. Blah....sometimes these blogs things are crazy.

Anyhow....enjoy your snow.....TRY to stay warm and don't overdo the shoveling...have those guys do it. HA!
Be blessed,
Joyce

Wow. Now I feel bad about complaining of our almost 90 degree weather yesterday.
