A lovely bouquet from my dear neighbor's garden. She left it by my front door and I was totally surprised. Is there anything nicer than someone saying, "I appreciate you?"

I need to do this today. Yesterday the big boys next-door helped my husband install a big new freezer. I'm not sure if they would appreciate flowers, but I know they will down a pan of brownies! Thanks for a sweet and lovely reminder...

She just left it there? I think the surprise of the secret gift was a simple pleasure all its own! It would just delight me to look down and see something like that.
And the fact that the little bouquet is so happy and pretty is gravy on the potatoes.

The surprise, the neighbor, the flower - all perfect examples! It feels wonderful to be appreciated. I need to make a conscious effort to do more appreciating in my life!
