Sometimes it is very relaxing to doodle...I have always liked to doodle so I decided that my doodles would be my Simple Pleasure this week. I particularly like to use gel pens on black paper. I am not what you call an "artist" but this is my way of playing at being one!

I'm a doodle bug too! Guess what I tend to draw more than anything? Daisies.
And not just daisies, I always "chain" them together. I never once thought of it until I read this post on your blog.
BTW, I hope you are doing well and that your heart is being comforted. That's what I pray for you, my blog friend.
I like to doodle too, but I always seem to doodle the same darn thing. A palm tree on a lonely little island. What does this say about me? LOL!!!
Great simple pleasure today.
PS. I like Debbie's post about the daisies!
Jean, I think doodling is so relaxing and if you turn out a work of art-well that's an added bonus! What a happy simple pleasure :-)
bless you..Trish
I also doodle! It is very freeing when you are able to sit down and just enjoy pen and paper :)
Thanks for sharing...Maria
Hi Jean, Doodling is fun.I especially like to doodle diamonds within squares and decorate them with little arches and cat's whiskers. Silly Fun.

Maybe you don't call yourself an artist but you can certainly draw! I'm a doodler too, usually when I'm on the telephone. I think it's a stress reliever.
My daughter would love this....she doodles on everything and has since she was little...even shoes...but it sure makes you smile.
Great simple pleasure
I doodle too but usually mine are little squiggles or circles. At least your doodles can be recognized, actually it looks like artwork to me. Great Simple Pleasure Jean, thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Sue

I'm a doodler, too. My doodles don't make much sense though, they always seem to grow to fill the paper I'm doodling on.

Hi Jean - I'm not much of an artist. I doodle when I'm talking on the phone, but usually boxes and odd shapes. Sometimes flowers which are also symmetrical figures. I wonder what that means? LOL
Thanks for entering my blog contest! Good luck. :)
What a great simple pleasure, Jean. I find doodling to be rather addicting. Once I start, it's hard to stop. You'll have to share some of your doodles with us sometimes.
