Dana from The Stone Rabbit has tagged me for a fun exercise. Name 5 songs that I would be embarrassed to admit I liked! How fun is that! I've always liked a wide variety of music and I didn't know that I HAD 5 that I would be 'embarrassed' to admit to so here goes:
1) Ally Oop by The Hollywood Argyles
One of those 1960's songs that just made me smile and tap my fingers on the steering wheel to the beat!
2) Running Bear by Johnny Preston
Another 60's number, "Running Bear loved Little White Dove..." and I just loved the tom-toms in the background!
3) Day Dream Believer by The Monkees
I even watched their tv show - how embarrassing is that!
4) Billie Jean by Michael Jackson
I don't think I tried the 'moon walk,' though - now that would have been embarrassing!
5) Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus
I could listen to that twangy twang all day! :-)
Well, I think I've embarrassed myself enough and now it is time to pass the torch (a little Olympic humor here) to these fine ladies:
Jillian of Jillians Pages
Judy at Grand Lake Life
BJ at Sweet Nothings
Ginger at Enchanting Cottage
Melissa at Sunbonnet Cottage
This has been a neat tag and I hope you have as much fun with it as I did!

Wow, that was quite a difficult tag but you did well with your embarrassing songs! I thought of two lovely movies for your list (if you don't have them already): Ladies in Lavender and I capture the castle.
Oh, and the story of the key made me think of an incident about a month ago when the automatic garage door opened one evening and then refused to budge. I also did not succeed at first at hooking it out for manual use. A crisis especially when there is no man around. But yes, God is good and I phoned my son-in-law for some long distance advice! Blessings Eleanor
Thank you so much for thinking of me for this really FUN tag...I just did it last week so please go back a bit on my blog and you will see them. I had such fun doing it..turned out to be my favorite tag!!
Thanks again and I LOVED reading YOUR songs!!

Ms. Daisy,
Actually, thank you for tagging me. Now, I know what I will write my blog on tonight when I get home.
Gives me time to think about those songs.
Have a wonderful day.
Melissa
How fun, I will most this after I think about it for a day. I felt so bad the last time you taged me I never did post anything, I'm sorry. Sometimes I get way to busy.
Have a great day,
ginger
Oh boy! I'll bet I have a ton of songs I could pick from. Now the choosing begins...
This should be a fun tag. Thanks!
Jillian
You did a GREAT job with coming up with songs!!!! You mentioned many that brought back memories for me, too! Dana
Thanks Dana! This was such a fun tag and the ladies I've tagged say they will have a good time with it too! Thanks for passing it along to me!
Jean,
I really had a lot of fun with this tag. Thank you for letting me be a part of it.
Really Kajagoogoo was a musical group. A short lived one though. I think they were what you call a "one hit wonder".
Have a great day.
Melissa
Jean,
I have an award for you at Sunbonnet Cottage.
Melissa
Oh dear. Achy Breaky Heart. THAT IS embarassing!
LOL!
Love ya!
Miss Jillian
Jean,
You are most welcome for the award.
You are a very creative individual.
Melissa
I just read your comment on Melissa's embarassing song page...LOL...I know Too Shy by Kajagoogoo becaues that was our era...the punk rock/British 80's!
Great song! I have it on my ipod.
Jillian
Do you remember that horrible "Trogladite" song? HA!!! My sister and I still laugh over that one and how stupid it was.
I think one of us had the "single" of it.
Terrible song but we always cracked up when we heard it....kids!
