I think that we shall always see/God' gifts upon our Christmas Tree;

You cannot touch them with your hand/Yet they are there at your command.

There's joy and faith and hope renewed/There's laughter for a happy mood,

There's gratitude for each new day/A time to think a time to pray.

The Christ idea with holy light/Shines clear to make your pathway bright

These things are yours if you can see/God's gifts upon your Christmas Tree.

How true this is. I enjoy seeing the gifts that God gives to myself and all the people around me. Everyday all year long I look to see the gifts that he gives us. I get tears in my eyes sometimes to see how he blesses us.
God Bless,
Ginger

At last I can visit. Been busy shopping and all the usual holiday chores. The poem is lovely. God's free gift is the greatest gift of all. I wish I was there when the Fire Brigade comes by with Santa! And I loved your book eccentricities! My late hubby also always took the jacket of a book off before reading too! I, like you, can't waste time on a book that does not grab me early on. Happy reading! Are you going to be with Bebe for Chrismas, her very first???

Very nice post.

I also posted an adaptation of a familiar song on my blog:
