worthwhile to me:
A sunset sky, a maple tree;
A mountain standing grim
and gray
Against the skyline far
away;
A baby's laugh, a summer
breeze,
A roadway winding 'neath
the trees;
A friend to trust, a book to
read,
And work which meets
some human need;
And through it all, a sense
of God
Lifting my soul above the
sod;
The hope and peace which
He can give - -
These make it worth my
while to live.

All those things are gifts from God...I try and thank Him for giving me each day. And especially for Dear Bebe!
Just simply beautiful. God bless you.
Beautiful poem, Jean. I'm glad you shared it. That elephant in your last post is "something else".
Hope you're having a wonderful Spiritual Sunday.
Charlotte
I like the line, "and through it all, a sense of God..."
Indeed, so many things all around us make life worthwhile and many don't even cost a cent!
Beautiful! I so glad you posted this on Spiritual Sunday.
