It is time for another round of
Microfiction Monday where we post a story of 140 characters or less based on a picture provided by hostess, Susan of Stony River Farm. If you would like to see more head on over
HERE. My story starts below:

So, when I saw the ad in the newspaper that said, "Meet interesting, handsome men..." I had no idea I would be meeting them at a laundry! (137)

So that's why she's all dressed up. I was wondering about that.
Ah, she thought she was going to meet men. Nice one! :)
Never met any interesting men at a laundry! LOL!
Now I know why she was so dressed up!! Nope, no terrific men at a laundry!! LOL! I love it! Have a great week!
Sylvia
...or doing their laundry.
Ha what a great MFM
Have a great week
Hilarious! ... and stay away from those ads. :)
Sounds like she needed to read the small print LOL! :O)
All work and no play for her..... :O)
Real men don't do any laundry . . .
You know, if an ad sounds too good to be true . . .
Yep. Very funny
if this would be the result of a single ad i would be worried about what would happen next
Good story! A surprise!
they do say the landromat is a good place to meet singles, I guess it was so even before washing machines
well done :)
Cute! Deception is the only way a woman would sign up for that job!
It's usually the men that try that laundromat/grocery store game. But that would be my luck, too. Made me smile.
...yes, and wash their shirts for them.
Well, her attire is fully explained now. LOL
Yes, meeting them as they drop off their clothes, I'm sure! Cute.
Never thought of that as a good place to meet men...hopefully they won't ask her to do their laundry as well as her own!
Have a great week. Cheers!
So what did she learn about the men whose laundry she was doing? :)
What a mistake to make. Very cute.
Oy, the heartbreak in this one. Sure explains how she's dressed.
Dressed like the Girl next Door. Does she know she has a run in her stockings. Maybe to give her that frumpy look.
As the saying goes, you start by sinking into his arms and end up with your arms in his sink....LOL
Good MM, well done!
