SIMPLE PLEASURES
It is that time of the week when we link to Dayle's A Collection of This and That for our Simple Pleasures Party. If you would like to see some of the things that we consider Simple Pleasures go HERE.
My little cherub is watching the Celosia I just planted. (and I just noticed, I should have raked before taking this picture.)
Anyway, remember the zinnias I planted from seed around Mother's Day, well this was about two weeks later.
Along with the grape tomato that I planted inside the enclosure, I planted some other tomatoes - one called Ramapo and the other Better Boy. I can hardly wait for them to produce those red, juicy globes.
Okay trumpets please! These are the zinnias today (and I even transplanted some to the other side of the plot.) They should prosper and grow to their full 3' tall splendor and I can hardly wait. I will transplant them again when they grow a little taller.
One of the most satisfying things I can do is to partner with God in the growing process and it truly is a Simple Pleasure.

I love the cherub in your garden. Love the tomato plants too!. That was my simple pleasure last week :)
Watching a garden grow is such a joy. Your tomatoes look very healthy.
Zinnias are one of my favorite flowers to grow, Jean. I enjoy watching everything grow and am always amazed at how fast they grow overnight. Enjoy1

Tiny pleasures..... what fun it will be to watch them grow!
I love zinnias! They make the best pickers and seem to the the gift that keeps on giving.
(Not in my garden, of course, but my mother's garden.)
"He who plants a garden works hand in hand with God." So wonderful to see results from your work. And one day you'll be able to have a yummy fresh from the garden yummy tomato sandwich. Enjoy! Best wishes, Tammy
Amen! This is wonderful, partnering with God in the garden. It brings great pleasure!

Gardening ... such a joy to, as you say, "partner with God" in this process.
Everything look so pretty and green.
My garden, after all the rain, is sprouting... I already see little tomatoes...pure bliss!
I love to garden and He always has a word or 2 for me when I'm out there!
