SIMPLE PLEASURES
One simple pleasure for me is people watching! I had some time to fill between trains here at the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia last week. This is part of the Food Court and I was just finishing my lunch when I snapped this picture.

Well there is part of your trip I never get to see! The train stations. I'm glad 3oth street station has a nice place to wait! Makes me worry less...

I love to people watch too.
Then, of course, I get all paranoid when I'm in public and just know that someone just like us is sitting there watching me.
So I suck in the stomach...

How cool! Although I am a notoriously unobservant person, I agree pw is a fun thing to do in busy places. I want to be more like my husband who is a great "noticer" of the details.
Why is it that the food pics draw my eyes, not the people? LOL. They looked good!

Jean, you've struck a chord! P.W. is one of my secret favs ... This reminds me when I first moved to a new city/new job and was too bashful to eat in the company cafeteria by myself. Instead, I'd drive 5 min. to the Tampa Int'l. Airport and people watch. Figured no-one would think it odd, a single gal eating by herself in an airport. Paranoid, yes, but made for some great scenarios! :)
I love to sit at a pavement cafe and people watch. I could do it all day!
I am a "people watcher" as well.....LOVE to be in airports and crowded areas. HA! Really fun in outdoor cafes and such.....always something to learn when you observe people. Especially if you LOVE people first.
