RESCUE

The ongoing rescue of the Chilean miners has been one of the most riveting scenes I've seen, I think since the rescue efforts at Ground Zero on 9/11/01. This picture of the first miner to be brought to the surface came at around 10:15 pm last night as I was watching TV.

The little boy and his mother, the wife and child of the miner, can be seen crying in the background. I was crying and laughing all at the same time. Many miners credited their belief in God for getting them out of the mine and, for me, I KNOW that the many prayers sent up for their release were heard.

Yes, I was praying for them too but tonight, I was praying that everyone will glorify no one else but the good Lord...It was an awesome thing to see. To see some of the men emerged with a greater faith...Figuratively, may each of them was pulled from that darkness into the Light...Then heaven must rejoice! God bless.
