BOOK BLURB FRIDAY

Book Blurb Friday is the fun meme by Lisa Ricard Caro of Writing in the Buff. Come over and have some writing fun as Lisa posts a picture and you write a jacket blurb that would completely entice a reader to buy your book. Here is the photo by Sandra Davies.

When Tara Leigh walked into the old shop, she had the distinct feeling she had been here before - but when, and more importantly, why? She was not a collector nor did she have any interest in starting now. As she browsed through the items, the feeling grew and the statues began to take on an ominous look. What had drawn her to this shop, called "Look at Me" in the first place? She had come to this historic village on a whim when her friend, Donna, had invited her to come shopping. Now, Tara's first impulse was to leave when an old man came through the rough, paneled curtains that shielded the back room from view. "You're here!" he said surprised. She nodded. "Come with me then." he said.
Donna looked for Tara all day...even as she walked past the figurine in the window several times. (150)

Cast in bronze, then? Ooh, creepy! Good take on the prompt, Jean.

This started so innocently - and then had a very nasty twist. Can Tara be returned to life I wonder?

Wow, this a great story. Is she stuck that way forever? Can her friend help her? You did an awesome job on this one!

I'll have to go right ahead and read the book now to find out if she's gone for good! (or evil for that matter!) Great blurb
